Data Protection
We take the protection of you data very serious
Since it has become known how easily sensitive data can be retrieved from any online shop, we have been facing a new challenge: the protection of your personal data. Especially w when purchasing safes online, strict attention should be paid to how your data is handled. As experts in the field of security technology and value protection for almost 40 years, it is not only our duty but also our passion to ensure your safety. Regardless of whether it concerns your valuables or your personal data.
Because of this, we also take comprehensive measures beyond the generally applicable basic data protection regulation (DSGVO) in order to keep your data secure.
We protect your data!
- Encryption of the entire shop
- Encryption of the payment transaction
- Encryption of the the transmission onto our system
- Collection of only the most essential customer data
- Passing on of the data exclusively in the course of a business transaction
- Cooperation exclusively with trustworthy affiliate companies
- Deletion of customer data after expiry of the statutory period
- HIn-house, alarm- and video-secured server
We use a variety of methods to prevent all of the currently known methods of attack. For payment we rely on a payment service provider with the highest security certification PCI DSS Level 1.
SSL
What is even more, the data transmission in ourentire shop is protected with the encryption procedure SSL.This ensures the best safety for sensitive data.
How does the SSL work?
If the SSL is used whilst a connection is established, a number of certificates are made: The Internet user enters the address of the desired website into the browser and which sends a request to the web server. It subsequently sends the browser a public key and a certificate, which is then checked for authenticity by the browser. Once this check is successfully completed, the browser generates an arbitrary number based on the public key of the web server and sends it back to the web server. Thus, only the web server can decipher the key generated by the browser by using its own key. Internet users will already be securely protected against phishing attacks when the certificates are sent. The exchange of the keys is an additional means of protection that is considered extremely secure.
